PROS

Onboard experiences – The crew are there to make your trip as fun and luxurious as possible. You are made to feel special from the moment you get on board.

There are cruises for everyone – When people hear the word cruise, they often envision themselves being on a huge ship, which has thousands and thousands of people on board. They picture children running around, and hustle and bustle at every corner. While this can be the case on some cruises, there is actually something for everyone. You can discover more about this at The Globe Sailor. You can get small luxury cruise liners, as well as those aimed at specific age groups. There is something for all.

You get to see so much of the world in one trip – Cruises are ideal for those who want to get a taster for many different parts of the world. You can also enjoy a whole host of amazing activities.

CONS

Not enough time in one place – The downfall of seeing so many different places is that you aren’t going to be there for long.

Slow Internet – Okay, so you probably aren’t going to be going on vacation for the Internet, but for business owners and such like, staying in contact with your employees can be frustrating when on board a ship.

You can’t get off – Once you are on the ship, you can’t get off. Well, technically, if you want to be left in Alaska, you probably could be, but then you’re tasked with getting back! However, if you suddenly get on the cruise and find out you hate being on the water, you are probably not going to have the best time ahead.

Not everything is guaranteed – A lot of the trips on cruises are to see amazing wildlife and magical destinations. Weather and other unpredictable factors can get in the way, and you can’t exactly ask the cruise ship to go back there on the way home.

As you can see, there are many pros and cons associated with going on a cruise. It is also important to stress that there are so many different types of cruises available today, so you are bound to find something that fits in with your taste. So, is a cruise the right type of holiday for you?
