Grown-up Travel Guide Daily Photo – Tadeusz Kościuszko statue, Łódź, Poland

The statue of the Polish freedom fighter Tadeusz Kościuszko towers over Plac Wolności (Liberty Square) in the city of Łódź. This square (which is more of an octagon really) marks the northern end of ulica Piotrkowska, which at just less than five kilometres is Europe’s longest pedestrian street.
