Since tripods are not allowed, it takes patience, several attempts and a large shot of luck to get a good night shot. This is the best I could do, and given my limited photographic expertise I was happy with the result. What do you guys think?

Looks good to me. When I went up we had heavy cloud and snow showers so my photos are terrible. Doesn’t help that there are two layers of glass in some parts so you get lots of reflections. Might try and give it another go sometime but not keen to splash out another £25 so I may have to wait until the bar in the hotel a few floors below opens up – a cocktail might help steady my hands!
