News: Shake it up at London Cocktail Week

Hey-ho, sounds very sophisticated?

Well to an extent, yes. London is of course famous for its pubs but the capital also has a burgeoning cocktail scene.

Er, really?

Oh ye of little faith. Maybe it’s time to find out what’s on offer then…

Hit me!

London Cocktail Week starts today, Friday October 7 and runs to October 16 with cocktail-related events scheduled throughout the city. And it’s easy to take part too – just sign up for a free wristband. Over 100 London bars will be creating cocktails especially for the occasion and costing just £4 if you flash your wristband.

Sounds good.

It gets better. LCW is laying on free transportation every night in the shape of an iconic red ‘Routemaster’ bus to enable you to flit between venues.

OK I’m in!

We haven’t even finished yet. There’s plenty more happening during the week including masterclasses, film screenings, tutored tastings, lunches, dinners and, well, cocktail parties of course.

All in all, as they say, London Cocktail Week will be a ‘unique celebration of the capital’s unrivalled cocktail culture.’

Tell me more, tell me more!
