30 Places Before 30

We’ve been thinking recently about bucket lists and the things that you need to see during your life. And then that got us thinking, which places should people see before they turn 30? We put our heads together and came up with this list of 30 places to see before you turn 30. How many can you tick off already?

  1. A selfie on top of The Eiffel Tower should be on everyone’s to-do list!
  2. There’s lots to explore at Cambodia’s famous Angkor Wat temple.
  3. Ideally, you need to spend two or more days exploring the expansive Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg.
  4. Parts of the Berlin Wall still stand in Berlin.
  5. Say hello to the four presidents carved into the side of Mount Rushmore.
  6. It’s worth taking the dusty drive from Alice Springs to Uluru.  
  7. Hikers and mountain climbers will find plenty of excitement in the UK’s Lake District.
  8. Learn about the Italian Renaissance and the history of Christianity at the Vatican City.
  9. Try and spot the President of the United States on a tour of the White House.
  10. When in India, be sure to plan a trip to the famous Taj Mahal.

  1. If you’re ever in Italy, it’s worth heading to Pisa to take a selfie in front of the renowned Leaning Tower of Pisa.
  2. Visiting South Africa? Don’t forget to take a hike up to the top of Table Mountain for amazing views.
  3. There is lots to see in Iceland, such as the Blue Lagoon and natural glaciers. It’s also one of the top locations for spotting the Northern Lights.
  4. If you are a history aficionado, you will love exploring the Pyramids of Giza, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the World.
  5. There’s more history in Greece, such as the Acropolis of Athens which dates back to the 5th Century.
  6. No travel bucket list is complete without a mention of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge!
  7. Want to combine hiking with history? Then book a trip to Machu Picchu in Peru.
  8. Brazil is known for a lot of sights and attractions, but its most iconic is the Christ the Redeemer statue.
  9. Bondi Beach is the go-to place for fans of sunbathing and partying in Australia. It’s also conveniently located close to the center of Sydney.
  10. When in China, you absolutely must visit the ancient Great Wall of China. Most of the wall dates back to the famous Ming Dynasty.

  2. Want to add more towers to your bucket list? How about Ontario’s CN Tower?
  3. The Gothic Quarter in Barcelona is known for its relaxed cafes and bars.
  4. Another great spot for hikes is Japan’s Mount Fuji.
  5. Connect with your Celtic side and watch the sunrise at Stonehenge in England.
  6. The colorful St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow will look great on your Instagram!
  7. You can pay a visit to The Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen.
  8. Try and spot the monster in Scotland’s Loch Ness.
  9. To see the original Disney castle, you’ll need to visit Neuschwanstein in Germany.
  10. Get face to face with Easter Island’s popular statues.
