Sometimes all it takes to make some sense of life is a vacation in a scenic and peaceful place. Here are some of the most relaxed destinations in the world, ideally suited for a scenic & tranquil break –

Thailand

Every tourist who visits Thailand has hopes of finding isolation in dazzling white beaches lined with beautiful palm trees. Thankfully, Thailand does not disappoint. Apart from being hugely blessed when it comes to natural wonders, Thailand also has one of the most innovative hospitality industries in the world, which means that in addition to sight-seeing spots, there is an abundance of restaurants serving exotic cuisines. The Had Farang Beach on the island of Koh Mook is the place to be for seekers of peace, for they are sure to find some solace in the beach’s sparkling sands and sky-blue waters. Another must-visit is the mysterious Caves of Ko Lanta and the islands of Koh Phayam and Koh Phra Thong.

Mallorca

Mallorca or Majorca is a Mediterranean island in Spain’s Balearic region. Celebrated for its secluded beach hotels, villas with amazing views, protected coves, limestone foothills, and ancient Roman remains, the capital city of Palma is ideal to spend a relaxed weekend. The Moorish Almudaina Royal Palace and the thirteenth century Santa María Cathedral are must visits. Remnants of the past such as stone-erected communities consist of Pollença – a town renowned for its art galleries and musical festivals. Mallorca’s vibe is chilled out just like its residents who are extremely tourist friendly.

Bondi Beach, Australia

Sydney’s white sand beach of Bondi is huge, both in size and in beauty, which means visitors can enjoy their private space. Steady waves and sunshine attract surfers who practice their art in the beach, giving onlookers quite the show. Visitors can swim calmly in the iceberg’s ocean pool and after a swim, there are a plethora of pubs to choose from for visitors to lay back and relax.

Sri Lanka

Off the coast of South India, Sri Lanka, despite its fair share of beautiful scenery, remains widely unexplored. The enormous island is blessed with exotic beaches, dense jungles and people with values which welcome the idea of inviting visitors. For travellers operating on a low budget and a huge itinerary list, Sri Lanka is the place to be due to its helpful exchange rate. There is much to explore on a trip to Sri Lanka. Wildlife lovers can visit the Yala National Park to see leopards and rare species of birds. For a quiet weekend, a trip to Nilaveli Beach is highly recommended. The white sands and excellent seaside hotels make it a must visit.

Antigua and Barbuda

The islands of Antigua and Barbuda have been called paradise on Earth and rightfully so by numerous tourists who have had the joy of surveying its silver beaches and sky blue shorelines. Welcoming residents and an air that whiffs of calmness, these islands are fairly less visited locations perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Be it soul searching or just an escape from the daily norms of life – each of these places offer something inimitable!
