A Beautiful Island with Lots of Amazing Things to do!

Sicily in one word is beautiful! A stunning place with so much to see and do. You can even make your stay extra special renting a luxury villa in Sicily which is a great way to soak up the local atmosphere and the nature habitats.

From all the sights there are 5 that really stand out.

1 – Visit Taormina and Etna.

Europe’s tallest volcano Mount Etna is a definite visit if you are in Sicily. Go on a tour of this magnificent natural beauty, and take in the panoramic views. Afterwards you can take a stroll in the wonderful seaside resort of Taormina with excellent restaurants and views.

2 – Aeolian Islands.

Sicily is great for Island hopping, so why not visit the Aeolian Islands. With blue seas and rich Geological heritage they are a must see. There are seven to visit and Island tours are regular and readily available to tourists.

3 – Palermo.

Palermo is the capital of Sicily so rich in culture. Visit here to see an abundance of restaurants, museums, churches, palaces and fascinating architecture. It is also a host to many markets and vintage shops, within its vibrant centre. Palermo is bustling with city life, and its history is not to be missed!

4 – Syracuse.

Syracuse is a seaside town with an impressive harbour. Rich in Greek history, there are temples, fountains, tombs and an amphitheatre to be seen. A rich maze of streets with independant shops selling Italian delights, everybody will be charmed by Syracuse.
5 – Greek Temples.

Sicily is steeped in history and there are several Greek temples to be seen. From the ruins of the temple of Hera at Agrigento, to the impressive temple of Apollo in Syracuse, there is plenty to see. They each have their own story attached, which should be of interest to ever Sicilian visitor.

So as you can see there really are some fantastic and memorable things to see and do in Sicily. The five listed above are just a taste, and Sicily offers so much more for every visitor.
